 What Was New 08/Aug/04 Some minor housekeeping here & there. My import copy of Gradius V has arrived, and it's great - a huge improvement on the fourth outing. 30/Jul/04 It lives! Well, sort of. I thought it was about time for an update. Since we last met, R-Type Final has been released, and jolly good it is too. Quite nice unlocking all the ships from Irem's other shooters like X-Multiply, Image Fight & Mr Heli. Gradius V is out in Japan now. I have seen it briefly, but not played it. Certainly looks nice though, with one weaponry option being an obvious homage to Thundercross. Also, Konami are having another go at updating Contra with Neo Contra. This is an overhead-view game, so is at best only vaguely related to the originals. |
